Since Disneyland opened an hour earlier than DisneySea, we took the monorail over around 8:30 to cue up in the special area for resort hotel guests. (Early Entry, which we had on our first two days last week, is currently being tried out, and they weren't offering it this week.)
Our main priority was a final ride on Pooh's Hunny Hunt, so as Brock made his way there on very blistered feet, I rushed over to get Space Mountain Fastpasses. By the time I got them, they were for 9:40, and we couldn't go then if we were going to make it to DisneySea before their 10:00 opening.
After Pooh, we walked by Haunted Mansion to see if we could fit it in before leaving. They cleverly list its minimum Standby time as 13 minutes, but it was currently a walk on, so were were able to take a ride before changing parks.
We made it to the MiraCosta's special DisneySea entrance with over five minutes to spare, and like yesterday, they were letting hotel guests in early.
Once inside, I rushed over to Tower of Terror to pick up Fastpasses, and as I made it into American Waterfront, I found two lines of people being led to Tower of Terror. The Cast Member pointed out the Standby and Fastpass lines, and I joined the latter.
Fastpasses secured, we walked on Tower in Standby and returned with our Fastpasses for a second ride. The Cast Member working the pre-show was surprised to see us again so quickly, and we explained what we had done. "Smart," she replied. Apparently not many people here know how to make the best use of the system.
Afterward, I made my way to pick up Indiana Jones Fastpasses before meeting Brock in Arabian Cost for a mid-morning snack of pitas. (We decided we'd had enough of the our usual favorite, the Mysterious Island pork gyoza.)
At Mermaid Lagoon, we finally caught the theater show before a final ride on Raging Spirits and Indiana Jones in Lost River Delta. Then a break in the room and a trip to Ikspiari to pick up lunch at the grocery store. I also stopped by the convenience store to grab a few packages of Crunky Popjoy to take home.
We had our late lunch in the room before going downstairs to finally see Mickey's Dream Company. It was a great show that featured the current celebration's theme song, which plays outside our windows when we open them.
Then we said a preliminary goodbye to Tokyo DisneySea. (We're staying inside of it, so the final goodbye will be tomorrow.)
When we got to Disneyland, it was late enough that all the Fastpasses had been issued, but it was time for their stage show and subsequent parade. This meant we were able to walk on a few things, including Snow White's Adventures. Note that Scary is not included in the title here. However, the attraction is of a much higher quality than those in the States and is actually scarier.
Before leaving, the Cast Members working Space Mountain were kind enough to let us use the Fastpasses I'd picked up in the morning, so we were able to blast off on a final ride before saying goodbye to Tokyo Disneyland.
